2005 Library science talks - Practical Details

Presentations will be held twice: in Bern at the Swiss National Library and in Geneva at CERN or WHO or WIPO or ILO or ITU always at 15:30. All the presentations will be in English. The talks are open to all sponsors’ staff, and those linked to Scientific Information-related tasks are sure to find them of particular interest. Staff from other libraries are welcome to attend these talks.

For the talks in Geneva at CERN external guests should be at the Reception of CERN building 33 at 15:15 to be guided to the various conference rooms. You have to register to attend — stating your interest in all sessions or any one in particular — by contacting Mrs. Susanne Schäfer by telephone 022 767.24.31 or e-mail:Susanne.Schaefer@cern.ch

For the talks in Geneva at the World Health Organization (WHO), external guests should go to the WHO Library in the main building. The talk will take place in the Library Training Room. One can register to attend by sending an e-mail to ailis@who.int

For the Talk at WIPO external guests should be at the reception desk of WIPO, 34, Chemin des Colombettes, at 15:20 to be guided to conference room 1.27 first floor of the main building. You can register to attend by contacting Laura Wray, tel 022 338 8274 ; email : library.mail@wipo.int

For the talk at the International Labour Organization (ILO), external guests should go to the ILO Library on floor R2 (South). The talk will take place in the Library Discussion Room and Library staff at the Information Desk can direct you to the room. One can register to attend by sending an email to ailis@ilo.org
